Vaishali
Vaishali district is an important part of Bihar . It has tourism and historical significance. The first republic on the globe emerged at Lichchvi in the Vaishali district. The district falls under Tirhut division and Hajipur town is the district headquarters. The district of Vaishali came in to existence in1972. Earlier it was the part of Muzzafarpur district. The district covers an area of around 2036 km² and the population is around two million. Agriculture is the main activity and banana, paddy, wheat, maize, tobacco and lentils are the major crops.
