Spending on America should be a team event. Get everyone involved, and spread your enthusiasm. We're not arguing about sports or the government, so it won't be a controversy. We just want to get them interested in revitalising the American spirit. This will also revitalize the demand for domestic American products.
Hasn't the idea to spend on America been around for a long time? The answer is yes. The problem, however, is that this idea is in decline. People have consistently chosen the cheap, unreliable Chinese offerings. We have to change that. When we shop, we should pay attention to what goes into our basket.
It's harder to come by a true "product of the U.S.A." these days, and you may be frustrated when you start to compare labels in the store. If you aren't comfortable complaining to management and demanding more American made products, you can always take your shopping to the Internet, where you'll always be able to find American goods.
We can all use our time networking socially to spread awareness. When your friends see that you choose to "Spend on America" they'll want to get involved. Wear it proudly as a badge. Bring it up when you see people talking about it. Let everyone know that you think the USA makes the best of whatever you can want. We're all representatives of America.
Don't forget about your family during birthdays and holidays. They'll be happy, of course, with whatever you give them. Why not make them even happier and buy them something that was made in America? You can take the time to explain why, and they'll appreciate it even more and perhaps pay more attention during their own shopping excursions.
